Before You Ship
- Label each sample clearly: use a unique sample ID that matches the order, sample list, or email.
- Package to prevent contamination: use a clean, sealed primary container and protect it from leakage, breakage, or cross-contamination during transit.
- For multiple samples: use the same IDs on the sample list or email and include supplier, lot, process stage, project, or PO information when comparisons matter.
- For unusual solid parts: send dimensions and a photo before shipping if the part is large, irregular, curved, coated, or difficult to position.
- For report delivery: results go to the existing order/contact email unless an alternate report email is provided.
- For sample returns: include a prepaid return label or arrange return service before shipping.
- Restricted materials: do not ship hazardous, reactive, radioactive, biological, pressurized, or regulated material without prior written acceptance.
For larger sample sets, supplier studies, production lots, or recurring work, see Batch & Recurring XRF Testing.
